MP3 Files are great. My PC is full of theme. We switch our songs from PC to PC, we load them in our cell phones and ipods. I have a collection of CD’s that has been growing since my teen years. I still have all my original cd’s from th 90’s and until now.
In the 90’s I’d record a cassette tape to preserve the ordinal. Then later with a pc and MP3 I can simply rip them with Windows Media Player and keep them in my PC or convert them to MP3 files for my Ipod.
There are many places to get your MP3. Here are the sources I know of.
LimeWire, Kazaa and Morpheus: They are all illegal to use if downloading copyrite files, but they are freely available. If you go for these don’t forget to do a virus scan before you open any of files coming from P2P (peer to peer).
Winamp and Nero (ShowTime): What I like about these apps is that before listening to a file the app asks you if you want o listen or download the file. Please not the Nero demo is free and can be installed and uninstalled perpetually.
MP3 search engines: Audio Raider, BeeMPB, Air MP3 and DogPile.
Online audio converter and ripper: Vixy.Net In put a video address like YouTube and download the file as a MP3 file or other format.
Jango: Online radio that play the songs you pick. Simple add artist’s name and music plays.
Free Internet Radio Recorders: There are plenty of free radio recorders to choose from. Visit this page for a list.
BitLet: Listen on line to the music contained in a torrent file. See downloading an album via torrent is illégal, not listening to it online because it’s not being recorded anywhere.
Media Convert: Free online conversion of almost anything to any other format.
If you know of any other way to get MP3 drop a comment wont you?
