4 Easy Steps To Optimize Your Blog
1) Optimize page titles and permalinks.
I use the All-In-One-SEO plugin from Uberdose.
-Automatically optimizes your titles for search engines
-Generates META tags automatically
-Avoids the typical duplicate content found on WordPress blogs
-For WordPress 2.3 you don’t even have to look at the options, it works out-of-the-box. Just install.
-You can override any title and set any META description and any META keywords you want.
-You can fine-tune everything
-Backward-Compatibility with many other plugins, like Auto Meta, Ultimate Tag Warrior and others.
To modify the permalink structure, log in to your WordPress admin dashboard and click “settings” then “permalink”.
You will be able to tic the format you wish, I use,

2) Optimize images.
Enter a description to help out search engine spiders who crawl your site. They can’t read images so a description will greatly help. Remeber that the name of your image itself can affect AdSenes.
<img src=”your image.gif” alt=”description here”>
text appears as mouise hovers
Hover your mouse over the image, you will see the description.
3) Optimize links.
Your links should be formatted in the following way:
<a href=”” title=”title description”>text</a>
notice how text appears as the mouse hovers over the link.
4) Title Tags <h1>
For the more serious you should know that Google pays attention to your title and sub title tags. You should use one <h1> tag for your title, one <h2> tag for your sub title and <h3> tags are less important and can be repeated.
Keywords
You should rpeat your keywords through out your article. Putting keywords in bold and making your article quickly skimable is highly sugested because visitors wont read every single word and bold words are also taken into account with Adsense relevant results. Don’t forget that your url also is a fcator to consider.
