Why Blogroll Links Rock

Did you notice that I have a link exchange in my sidebar (the blogroll) and I have another on a separate page?
When I ask or joint link exchanges some people will add the link to their blogroll and others will add the link to a link’s page. I always link back the same way I am getting linked to.
I love being added to some one’s blogroll especially if the blog is a do-follow. The reason is simple your blogroll shows up on every single post you write. I could be getting hundreds of backlinks from one person.
You want to omit exchanging links with a blog that uses no-follow because the backlink is useless. It won’t be counted by Google for updating your pagerank.
If you want to see if a blog uses no follow tags simply:
1– Highlight link with your mouse
2– Right click on the link to open a box-menu.
3– Click on “View selection source” if you see:
<a href=”http://lepixelshoppe.com” rel=”external nofollow”>Pixel Shoppe</a>
or - <a href=”http://lepixelshoppe.com” rel=”nofollow”>Pixel Shoppe</a>
It’s a no-follow link and you can skip asking a link exchange.

Hey nice tip . I still haven’t started asking for link exchange for my blog but someday I will . I will advise you to keep the number of links in blogroll to not more than 15 . 10 is ideal .
Hey do add me up in your blog roll i am adding you up..!
